Happy New Year’s Eve eve! I’ve created a super easy to make photo booth frame prop that I’m so excited to share with you all. It’s perfect for capturing pictures of those silly and memorable moments shared between friends and family. If you’re planning a party or attending an end of the year bash, this sparkly addition will be a hit!
For this project, you will need the following items:
- Disco Ball ornaments
- Scissors or X-ACTO Knife
- Hot Glue Gun
First step! Using scissors or an X-ACTO knife, cut your cardboard into the size of frame you’d like. I cut mine at about 22″ x 17″ and 1 1/2″ wide. Side note: If your disco balls are a little heavy, you may want to double up on the cardboard by cutting the same size twice and gluing the two together.
Next, staple your tinsel around the top of the cardboard frame.
And last, glue your disco balls in place. I bunched three together in the top left corner, and two in the bottom right corner.
Easy peasy, you’re all done! I love how simple this DIY is. I tend to be a procrastinator so if you’re like me, this is great for a last minute party idea. From start to finish, you can complete one of your own in less than 30 minutes! It’s festive AND adorable. Right??
I grabbed my little mini to pose with me for size proportion. It’s just the right size for two people. If you need a larger frame for multiple party people, adjust the measurements for your cardboard frame.
Grab your favorite photo props and you’re good to go!
We are so excited to bring in the New Year! I hope it brings you all the joy & happiness.
Be safe and see you all next year!
