I have had the best time planning every detail of our Disney trip so far, including what to wear! I don’t normally post about this kind of thing, but it was such a fun part of the process and I thought it would be helpful to some of you trying to figure out park attire. For the majority of our trip, we chose to wear Disney themed tees to pair with character greets and parks we’ve got scheduled for the day. We love Disney movies, but don’t normally sport the attire and we’re taking full advantage of it!
Our first day into Disney World will be at Magic Kingdom on Olivia’s birthday day. She’ll be dressed as Cinderella in this amazing princess dress I ordered from MagicalWishBoutique. We’ll have breakfast at Cinderella’s Castle with a handful of our favorite princesses, and attend the Fireworks Desert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace. It really is going to be the best day ever!
I made Chris and I matching shirts to wear and a birthday sash for Livi. The cupcake ears are my favorite! They’re a DIY along with a few other pairs you’ll see in this post. You can click here if you want to check out the full tutorial for those.
We’ll be arriving pretty late in the evening when we check into our resort and want to dress comfy while traveling. We are big fans of Aladdin so this are our “Jasmine and Rajah” themed day. Livi and I have matching Lularoe Jasmine leggings and I absolutely love them! It’s true when they say these leggings feel like butter. (Thank you Maggie, we can’t wait to wear them!)Our second day in the parks are being split between Hollywood Studios and Epcot. With meet & greets including Buzz & Woody, Olaf, Elsa & Anna, and visiting the Nemo attractions and aquarium, we’ve got them covered with these tees. Beauty & The Beast is absolutely in our top 3 favorites. I love this day! We’re having jumbo cinnamon buns for breakfast at Gaston’s Tavern where we get to meet and interact with him as well. Enchanted Tales with Belle afterwards, and dinner at Beasts castle that evening. Livi has a Belle princess dress that she cannot wait to wear to dinner with the Beast.
And I’m so excited to wear these! I made the Belle ears and “a Beauty but a funny girl” shirt. This tee is super comfy. I picked it up at Target and used a freezer paper method to make the iron on with gold fabric paint. Chris and Livi’s shirts are perfect for the day. And those rose gold Minnie ears match the sequins on her shirt to a T.We’re skipping over to Animal Kingdom for day 4! We have lunch reservations at Tusker House to meet the Fab 5 — Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and/or Pluto. Not sure which 5 will be there, but I hear it’s a great meet & greet either way. Also, Lion King, Pocahontas, dinosaur things, it’s all on the agenda. Excited to see Pandora as well! We’ll miss Moana, but Livi adores her so we couldn’t leave her out of our wardrobe.ARIEL DAY!! Actually, day 2 of Ariel. We have plans to meet her our very first day in Disney because Livi and I just can’t wait.
We made a reservation at the Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast where we’ll be meeting Ariel, Eric, Rapunzel, and Flynn. EEEK!
Both of the Ariel ears here can be found in my DIY post as well. I made Livi and I each a pair to wear. While mine aren’t really practical to wear all day long (a little top heavy), I have them for pictures so I’m happy. My seashell necklace from Hot Topic completes this outfit though. No, the ears. The necklace. The ears! Okay, both. We’ve got a lot of our days pretty booked in the parks, but just in case we decide to take a resort day and swim, I put this little number together. And our last day, wah wah *sad face*…
Cinderella is my favorite classic princess. I am pretty excited to meet her myself! She’s right up there with Ariel for me. I’m pairing mine and Livi’s tees with our Minnie rose gold ears to match. Chris picked out all of his shirts from Fifth Sun. They’re very well made, cool designs, comfortable, and the shipping was fast. I would totally recommend them! We’ll be enjoying the park for a few hours before we board our plane to fly home. I’m already sad thinking about leaving! We can’t wait to soak up EVERYTHING Disney and enjoy a much needed family vacay to unwind and make some magical memories.
